We are seasoned and just what you need to build an outdoor space, maintain an outdoor space, and deal with whatever weather and conditions our seasons deal us year-round. We never rest, never become complacent, we just keep getting better and keep improving.
Our Team
Ben Johnson
Founder and president of Milestone Outdoor Company, Ben leads the company. He is a forward thinker and sees the long-term vision for our future and guides the direction of the company towards those directions and goals. He has a feel for the pulse of our industry and is continually developing and refining the processes and tools our company uses to complete our work.
Away from work you can find Ben with his wife Megan spending time with their daughters Kate, Chloe, and Grace. You’ll also find him and Kate riding ATV’s and motorcycles on the weekends or being outside working in the yard mowing or just relaxing with their dog Tucker.
Megan Johnson
Megan is the vice president of Milestone Outdoor Company. She leads the daily operations in our office and directs our office team. She oversees all the behind-the-scenes inner workings that allow our company to run so smoothly.
On the evenings and weekends, you’ll find Megan and husband Ben busy with their three girls Grace, Chloe, and Kate. Being “mom” has always been her number one job and she is always on the phone or texting with them. For a hobby, Megan is an interior and exterior home designer at heart. She is always digging in on the current trends and fashions in all things decorating. Her happy place is redesigning any room she happens to be in.
Aaron Polley
Aaron wears many hats at Milestone Outdoor Company. He coordinates the day-to-day operations as our Operations Manager and leads our Landscape Construction division. He has personally done every service Milestone Outdoor offers and is always interacting with our team through training or answering questions. Our team would say he sets the bar high for working hard. He seemingly never gets tired and always brings a positive approach to his job.
Away from work you’ll find Aaron with a camera in his hands as he and wife Angie chase their son Hunter around watching his high school sports or daughter Kalyn as she coaches softball. They love to entertain and spend time with friends and family.
Grace Johnson
Grace is the Landscape Designer at Milestone Outdoor Company. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Horticulture with a Landscape Design emphasis. She loves all things plant related and designing landscapes that get people engaged and at home by being outdoors.
Away from work Grace loves music. She plays the piano and has a great singing voice. She sings in the choir at her church on Sundays and is always booked with activities she does with her friends.
